Individual And Connected Bead Material
INienhuis Montessori manufactures two styles of bead material. The individual beads are available in glass or nylon and are separately strung on copper wire to make up ten bars, hundred squares, and thousand cubes. Connected nylon beads are fused together in a special process and provide a lower cost alternative to the individual beads. The individual beads demonstrate more clearly that each quantity is made up of units, and are therefore best suited for the Golden Bead exercises.
