These phonetic 3-part reading cards use real photos to clearly isolate each phonetically spelled subject. Use these for independent work after the phonetic object box.
 
Level 1 (also known as the pink series) presents completely phonetic CVC and VC words (like cat, pin, mug) for all five short vowel sounds: a, e, i, o, and u.
 
The 3-part format is designed for independent reading. Students lay out the photo card, read and match the word labels to the photo cards, and then use the control cards to check their own work.
 
Five packets in the level make it easy to rotate materials, keeping the content fresh and students engaged.
