Only one phonogram is introduced per packet. The phonogram is printed in red on each card to isolate the concept being taught.
 
The 3-part format is designed for independent reading. Students lay out the photo card, read and match the word labels to the photo cards, and then use the control cards to check their own work.
 
Eleven packets in the level make it easy to rotate materials, keeping the content fresh and students engaged.
